Job Description
As the Concrete Repairs Manager, you will play a pivotal leadership role in the development, delivery and growth of Stepnell’s Concrete Repairs function. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project delivery, business development, client engagement, and commercial performance – ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of safety, quality and professionalism.
Reporting to the Strategic Project Director, you’ll be responsible for:
Business Leadership
* Develop, implement and manage a robust business plan for Concrete Repairs, aligned with the company’s overall strategy.
* Work closely with the Board of Directors to ensure financial and operational targets are met.
* Represent Stepnell’s Concrete Repairs function with confidence and professionalism across all internal and external platforms.
Operational Excellence
* Lead the safe, high-quality delivery of multiple repair projects, ensuring performance against time, cost and quality objectives.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry innovations, repair technologies and standards.
* Ensure compliance with CDM and H&S regulations and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
Collaboration & Engagement
* Work collaboratively with internal teams (IT, HR, Finance, etc.) and regional offices to deliver consistent and high-quality outcomes.
* Support project teams from pre-construction through delivery, offering hands-on guidance and strategic input.
* Promote behavioural change and a positive health and safety culture throughout the business.
Client & Stakeholder Management
* Manage key client relationships, including National Grid, and foster new business opportunities across the sector.
* Sustain and grow consultant partnerships, delivering value and excellence in every engagement.
People Leadership Reporting & Insight
* Monitor and report on business performance against agreed KPIs, budgets and strategic objectives.
* Inspire and support high-performing teams across the business.
* Promote a ‘One Stepnell’ approach to collaboration and leadership.
