We are looking to recruit a Payroll Coordinator (Senior) to cover a period of maternity leave within our busy payroll team, the contract is expected to last 18 months. Based at our Plumpton Park site in Harrogate, we currently have a small team processing a weekly and monthly payroll. The team are dedicated and focussed on ensuring all our people are paid accurately and on time. Your main responsibilities will include: Processing of all new starters and leavers, changes to terms and conditions and absence recording and reporting Implementation of all variable pay into the HR & Payroll System Production of weekly and monthly Bacs reports and posting costings Pension Auto Enrolment processing and administration Production of Real Time Information submissions to HMRC Compliance with HMRC legislation Production of Reward (BiK) Statements Various general administration duties Assisting ongoing projects within the team Deputise for Payroll Manager (when required) Support future module delivery within payroll system The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience of working within a busy Payroll Team A full understanding of Payroll legislation/statutory payments Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy Experience of using Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and Teams The ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines and proactively manage workload The ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times What we offer you As a minimum, all our employees receive free meals, drinks and snacks while at work, a discretionary quarterly profit-share bonus, holiday allowance with the option to buy and (in some cases) sell additional days, company-wide employee discounts, access to our health cash plan, wellbeing support, company funded counselling, and enrolment in the company pension.
