The Otter Inn, Weston, Honiton is looking for Experienced and enthusiastic Part time Front of house Staff to join our fantastic team.
We are open 7 days a week with food service hours being from lunchtimes and 5.30-9pm Monday to Saturday and Sundays 12-8pm. The bar is open all day serving soft and alcoholic drinks from 11am until 11pm, coffee's and pastry's are also available
We are looking for daytime & evening staff. Ideally a combination of both. We are flexible on start / finish times but core hours (depending what shifts you are working) are 11-3pm & 5-10pm. There are also straight shifts available, 10am-6pm and 3pm until finish. Weekly rota's are completed in advance allowing you to manage your time.
Experience is essential. This position will mostly involve:
FOH- Delivering exceptional customer service with great knowledge of our menus. Taking customer orders and card payments at the table, doing food check backs and ensuring our customers have a great experience with us.
Giving a warm welcome to our customers and showing them to their tables on arrival, explaining menus and specials when appropriate and checking with customers on any dietary restrictions.
Running food and drinks to tables when required in quieter times and assisting our food runners when needed and leading by example.
Serving drinks from the Bar and also to the table.
Taking the time to explain things to our less experienced staff and sharing your knowledge and experience with our team.
Maintaining high levels of great hygiene with regular cleaning of service areas.
You will need to be over the age of 18yrs as the service of drinks is an important part of this role.
