The McDermott group is looking for an HSEQ Advisor based in Perth, Scotland. This role is crucial in maintaining high standards in health, safety, environmental protection, and quality management.

* Holidays: 30 days plus 1 additional day per year of service, up to 5 days. Holiday buy-back scheme available for an additional 5 days.

Responsibilities
* Manage and liaise with HSEQ auditors to maintain company accreditations.
* Develop, monitor, and maintain procedures within the Quality Management System.
* Advise and train employees on HSEQ matters to ensure legal compliance.
* Plan and conduct audits, document findings, and implement improvements.
* Ensure company processes meet their objectives and promote customer focus.
* Maintain the integrity of the HSEQ management system.
* Perform risk assessments and develop safe operational procedures.
* Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with policies and legislation.
* Develop and implement health and safety strategies and policies.
* Lead training sessions on QHSE topics for staff and management.
* Maintain records of inspections, incidents, and accidents; produce reports and statistics.
* Stay updated with legislation and industry developments.
* Manage hazardous substances and ensure safe disposal (COSHH).
* Provide advice on fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, machinery safeguarding, and occupational diseases.
* Oversee emergency procedures, signage, PPE, and COSHH controls.
* Hold NEBOSH General or equivalent qualification.
* Demonstrate passion and robust knowledge in HSEQ subjects.
* Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, meeting deadlines.
* Proficient in MS Office applications.
* Knowledge of risk assessments, COSHH, RIDDOR, and DSE regulations.
* Auditor training or experience preferred.
* Implement processes and drive change actively.
* Hold a full UK driving license and be willing to travel.
* Must have full rights to work in the UK (IDLR or Settled Status). No sponsorships are provided.
