We are looking for full time, part time & relief Support Workers to join our team in the Terrington area where we support 3 wonderful people who live together.
All 3 people lead busy lives and participate in lots of community-based activities such as hydrotherapy, weekend theatre trips, holidays abroad or simply popping out for a bite to eat!
The staff team in Terrington also provide support to 3 ladies who live in Downham Market so the use of a vehicle and ability to drive is essential.
The ladies in Downham are quite independent and the support we offer is around building on their daily living skills and promoting further independence.
The current staff team are extremely dedicated to the people they support and between them, have years of experience. You will also have the full support of our very `hands on managers who dont just sit in an office all day! All our managers are a real presence in support locations which is invaluable in creating a caring, nurturing environment for our staff teams.
You must have a genuine interest in supporting people with learning disabilities and be able to clearly differentiate between care and support: the emphasis is on enabling people to do things for themselves, not doing things for them

No previous experience or qualifications required, Free, Skills for Care endorsed full training will be provided
