As an Electrical Fitter, you would be primarily responsible for the installation, construction, maintenance, and repair of HV switchgear and automation equipment.
Key Responsibilities
* HV inspections and maintenance of DNO, (i)DNO and private network switchgear sites
* Installation of switchgear, transformers, actuators, and RTUs for DNO, (i)DNO and private network sites
* FPI replacements
* Substation earthing and wiring

Essential qualifications & attributes
* Completed apprenticeship or equivalent training for Electrical Fitting on HV distribution networks
* City and Guilds in Electrical Principles or relevant electrical qualification
* Full UKDriving Licence
* DNO / (i)DNO Qualifications, ie;
Access and Supervision in locations with level 3 Security
HV electrical authorisations for construction, installation and/or maintenance works
* Previous experience of HV Electrical Fitting works on DNO (i)DNO or private distribution networks, to include installation, construction, and/or maintenance works
Desirable qualification & attributes
* Access and supervision in locations with level 3 security
* HV electrical authorisations for construction, installation and maintenance works
* Previous experience of EHV Electrical Fitting works on DNO (i)DNO or private distribution networks, including installation, construction and/or maintenance works.
