Senior Clinician - ADOS Autism Assessments (Face-to-Face) ? Location: Bromsgrove, Worcestershire ? Contract: Full-time / Part-time options available ? Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience About the Role We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Clinician to join our specialist neurodevelopmental assessment team, delivering face-to-face ADOS-2 assessments in Bromsgrove. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician with strong autism diagnostic experience who is passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred assessments for children and young people. Role Requirements & Capacity The successful candidate will be expected to complete up to 4 ADOS assessments per day, ensuring timely delivery of assessments while maintaining excellent clinical standards and patient experience. Key Responsibilities Conduct ADOS-2 assessments as part of multidisciplinary autism diagnostic pathways Complete high-quality clinical documentation and reports in line with NICE guidance Deliver assessments efficiently while maintaining a supportive, child-centred approach Work collaboratively with families, schools, and partner professionals Provide clinical leadership and supervision to junior staff where appropriate Maintain excellent standards of safeguarding, record keeping, and professional practice Essential Requirements Registered clinician (e.g., Clinical Psychologist, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician) Significant experience in autism diagnostic assessment ADOS-2 training and demonstrated competency Confidence delivering assessments face-to-face Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a wider MDT Desirable Skills Experience in senior or supervisory roles ADI-R training Knowledge of wider neurodevelopmental presentations (ADHD, learning disability, etc.) Reach out to Natalie today to explore how she can support your next career move.
