We are seeking a detail-oriented and experiencedSenior Business Analystto join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will play a key advisory role in defining the process and requirements for a CPQ implementation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, IT, Finance, and Product Management to gather requirements, analyse data, define process journeys, detail user stories, and scope scalable CPQ solutions that align with business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:
* Collaborate with stakeholders to define transformative business processes to support target state with new technology, documenting business processes and performing process analysis.
* Engage with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements related to pricing, quoting, and product configuration.
* Drive the business conversation to define processes and user journeys.
* Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
* Work with cross-functional teams to identify touchpoints between CPQ processes and other workstreams and processes.
* Provide expert advisory around CPQ process design best practice.
* Analyse current CPQ processes and identify opportunities for improvement or automation.
* Support implementation by a 3 rd party.
* Work with development teams or vendors in the build and deployment of CPQ features and enhancements.
* Ensure compliance with pricing policies, discounting guidelines, and approval workflows.
* Generate documentation including process flows, user journeys, user stories, training materials, and system architecture diagrams.
The list of key responsibilities is not exhaustive, and the post holder may be required to undertake other relevant and appropriate duties as reasonably required. Travel should be expected as part of this role.
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
* 5-10 + years of experience as a Business Analyst with at least 2 years in a CPQ-related role.
* Experience with CPQ platforms (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, Oracle CPQ, Conga, Pros).
* Strong understanding of sales processes, pricing strategies, and product configuration.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Demonstrable knowledge elicitation techniques and experience of facilitating workshops with business stakeholders.
* Experience to confidently challenge business stakeholders and drive the decision-making process.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
* The ability to work independently when required, as well as part of a team.
* Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with others.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Familiarity with subscription billing, usage-based pricing, or SaaS revenue models.
* Knowledge of APIs and integration with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP).
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
