Igloo is recruiting for a Data Entry Technician to join our client’s busy Systems & Operations department in Upper Heyford. This role is essential for ensuring that data is captured accurately, processed on time, and maintained to a high standard to support smooth operational performance.
The Role:
1. Accurately input, update and maintain data across operational systems
2. Validate source information for accuracy, completeness and consistency
3. Apply the correct statuses, timestamps and workflow steps
4. Monitor dashboards and queues to ensure tasks are completed within SLAs
5. Investigate and resolve any data discrepancies
6. Carry out routine quality checks, reconciliations and corrective actions
7. Support operational teams by ensuring system data is clear and up to date
8. Maintain accurate audit trails for all system updates
9. Escalate recurring issues, data errors or system faults where required
10. Contribute to system and process improvement activity
11. Follow all data protection and cyber security policies
The Person:
12. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
13. Confident using multiple computer systems
14. Understanding of workflow or system-driven processes
15. Analytical mindset with the ability to identify inconsistencies
16. Clear communication skills across operational and technical teams
17. Good time management, especially within SLA-driven environments
18. Previous experience in data entry, operational admin or similar roles
19. Competent user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Desirable:
Experience in logistics, automotive or process-driven environments, plus knowledge of GDPR, data governance or KPI reporting.
