We are partnering with a Series B, RegTech and advisory business on the appointment of its first dedicated Legal Counsel hire.
The business operates across two core service lines:
* A rapidly scaling SaaS platform focused on regulatory reporting and diagnostics within financial services
* A boutique consulting and advisory practice supporting firms across operational resilience, risk, compliance, and regulatory change
This is a newly created, standalone legal position offering broad exposure across both the technology and consulting sides of the business. The successful individual will act as the key in-house legal voice and business partner, working closely with the Co-Founders and senior leadership team.
The OpportunityThis role would suit a commercially minded lawyer who enjoys autonomy, can operate independently, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced scaling environment without significant handholding.

1. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements
2. Supporting SaaS contracting and technology-related matters
3. Advising on consulting agreements, statements of work, and strategic partnerships
4. Acting as an escalation point for contractual and legal risk matters
