Solicitor – Housing & Regeneration (Litigation) – Leading Regional Firm

Preston | Full-Time | Hybrid Working

£35,000 – £50,000+ DOE

I am working with a highly regarded regional law firm looking to appoint a Solicitor to join its Housing & Regeneration (Litigation) team in Preston.

The team is recognised in the Legal 500 and Chambers for its expertise in social housing and regeneration matters, advising a broad range of housing providers. You will be joining a collaborative and supportive team, handling a varied caseload of litigation matters within a well-established practice.

The Opportunity

This is a diverse Housing Litigation role offering exposure to a wide range of matters, including:

* Housing management litigation
* Anti-social behaviour (ASB)
* Possession proceedings
* Injunctions and enforcement action
* Wider housing and regeneration disputes

You will manage your own caseload while also supporting senior colleagues on more complex matters. The role offers strong client exposure and the opportunity to work closely with social housing providers, delivering practical and commercially focused advice.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to business development and play a key role in the continued growth of the team.

About You

The firm is ideally seeking a Solicitor or CILEX with around 1–3 years’ PQE in housing, property litigation, or a related area.

You will demonstrate:

* Experience managing a litigation caseload
* Knowledge of housing law, property litigation, or social housing
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and client-facing ability
* A proactive and team-oriented approach

Experience in ASB matters, advocacy, or business development would be advantageous but not essential.

This role would suit a solicitor looking to develop their career within a well-regarded housing litigation team.

The Firm

You will be joining a progressive and people-focused firm with a strong reputation across the North. The culture is collaborative and supportive, with a genuine emphasis on career development, wellbeing, and long-term progression.

Flexible working is embedded within the firm, alongside a commitment to delivering high-quality, practical legal services to its clients.

Benefits

* Competitive salary and profit share scheme
* Generous annual leave with option to purchase additional days
* Enhanced family-friendly and sick pay policies
* Ongoing training and career progression opportunities
* Health and wellbeing benefits, including healthcare plan
* Retail, gym, and lifestyle discounts
* Regular social events and recognition initiatives

If you are a motivated Housing Litigation solicitor looking to take the next step in your career within a well-established regional firm, I would be keen to speak with you.
