Anderson Knight are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our clients established Finance function.
This is a key strategic role, working closely with senior stakeholders to provide commercial insight, challenge decision-making and drive financial performance in line with the organisation’s objectives.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping strategy, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring strong financial governance across the business stream.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a trusted finance partner to senior leaders, providing commercial and financial insight to support strategic and operational decision-making
* Contribute to the development of the business stream strategy, constructively challenging assumptions and plans where appropriate
* Lead financial analysis across the business stream, including plans, targets, performance drivers and investment decisions
* Own the annual budget process and rolling forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
* Ensure the business stream P&L accurately reflects financial performance and position
* Lead financial reporting and performance analysis, interpreting trends and translating data into actionable insight
* Drive financial risk management, identifying, mitigating and managing financial and operational risks
* Take responsibility for working capital and cash management within the business stream
* Maintain a robust financial control environment, ensuring compliance with financial and statutory regulations
* Oversee the preparation of management and financial accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
* Support the month-end process and attend relevant business reviews
* Improve the quality, impact and understanding of financial reporting across the business
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation
* Support the Finance Director during the annual audit process as required
You will be a commercially minded finance professional with strong business partnering experience and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.
Essential requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar Finance Business Partner or commercial finance role
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
* Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills
* Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
* Full UK driving licence
