What youll be doing Youll be workshop-based, working on customer leisure vehicles (motorhomes and caravans), carrying out repairs and refurbishments to a high standard. Day-to-day, youll be: Repairing and refurbishing interiors and exteriors of motorhomes and caravans Using woodworking skills to cut, shape, fit, and install boards and panels neatly Working with wood, GRP, plastics, aluminium and composite materials to complete repairs properly Fitting plastic/GRP panels on front and rear exteriors, plus Ali panels on side exteriors Working to pre-prepared estimates and hitting agreed timescales without sacrificing quality Helping teammates, sharing skills, and keeping the workshop humming along as one unit Think of it as: part craftsperson, part problem-solver, part make it look brand new again wizard Who this role is perfect for This job is ideal if youve got solid hands-on experience that transfers well, such as: Professional woodworking, joinery, fitting, or construction Expert-level DIY (the kind where your friends ask you before YouTube) Repair, maintenance, refurbishment, workshop roles, or trade backgrounds Anyone who gets a weird amount of satisfaction from straight cuts, tidy finishes, and panels that line up perfectly Motorhome/caravan experience is a bonus, but not essential. If youre great with materials and tools, we can teach the leisure-vehicle specifics.
