About the Role
Exciting times are ahead! With new production lines opening, we are on the lookout for Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineers to join our dynamic team. You will work a rotating 12-hour shift pattern, covering days, nights, and weekends, to support both planned and reactive maintenance at our Coleraine manufacturing site.
What Will I Be Doing?
Your role will be vital in ensuring our operations run smoothly. Here’s what you can expect:
* Prioritizing safety by complying with Health and Safety Policies.
* Handling Electrical and Mechanical maintenance, including preventative measures and troubleshooting breakdowns.
* Ensuring all maintenance activities meet mandatory Health & Safety obligations.
* Collaborating with Production shift managers and teams to achieve plant efficiency targets.
* Upholding food safety standards during maintenance tasks.
* Managing material stock levels and booking out spare parts.
* Overseeing contractors while they are on-site.
* Maintaining high housekeeping standards in all engineering areas.
* Participating in new installations and projects as needed.
* Developing and updating work instruction sheets and risk assessments.
What Do I Need to Be Successful?

* A time-served multi-skilled engineer with both mechanical and electrical expertise.
* A minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an engineering discipline (e.g., BTEC National Certificate/Diploma).
* The ability to quickly identify root causes of efficiency issues and propose effective solutions.
* Proficiency in computer skills.
* A logical, organized approach to work.
* Strong communication skills at all levels, both internally and externally.
* The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* A solid understanding of Health & Safety practices.
