We’re seeking a Principal Consultant to join our senior leadership team — someone who combines consulting craft, technical fluency, and commercial acumen to lead AI-first digital transformation programmes. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping Symphony’s consulting proposition, guiding delivery across multiple clients, and mentoring the next generation of leaders. This is a high-visibility position for a seasoned consulting professional with experience in top-tier firms such as McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Accenture, Deloitte, EY, PwC, or equivalent, now looking to move into a more agile, outcome-oriented environment. Responsibilities: What you'll do: Client Strategy & Engagement Leadership Lead 2–3 client engagements simultaneously, acting as senior advisor across technical and strategic topics. Shape early-stage discovery, delivery framing, and solution design. Build trusted relationships with C-suite stakeholders (CTOs, CPOs, Heads of Data/AI). Technical & Delivery Oversight Provide senior guidance on architecture, AI/ML, data platforms, APIs, and digital product development. Ensure structure, quality, and alignment across delivery teams. Anticipate and mitigate delivery risks while shaping key technical decisions. Codify reusable delivery frameworks and AI-first consulting playbooks. Team & Practice Development Mentor Project Leads, Consultants, and functional specialists. Contribute to hiring and scaling Symphony’s consulting and delivery leadership layers. Shape internal capability building, thought leadership, and client propositions. Commercial Leadership Partner with business development teams to win and shape new consulting opportunities. Ensure commercial viability of engagements through accurate scoping and delivery alignment. Drive long-term account growth and value creation. Qualifications: 10 years in consulting, digital transformation, or technology delivery. Background from a top-tier consulting firm (MBB, Accenture Strategy, Deloitte Digital, or equivalent). Strong technical depth across architecture, AI/ML, data strategy, APIs, and platform design. Proven track record in leading complex client programmes from concept to execution. Exceptional communication and influencing skills — comfortable translating between business and technical stakeholders. Experience developing and mentoring teams across product, engineering, and data domains. Strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced, outcome-driven environments.
