We’re now looking for a Key Account Manager to take ownership of a high-profile manufacturing client, driving performance, innovation, and long-term partnership value.
This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday on-site across our Dagenham primarily with occasional travel to our Dunton location. The salary for this role is £35,000 – £40,000, depending on experience, plus a company car and benefits. This opportunity has arisen due to internal progression, reflecting our strong commitment to developing and advancing our people. What you’ll be doing
This is more than account management — you’ll own and evolve a strategic client relationship.
* Lead a flagship client account — ensuring retention, growth, and commercial performance
* Build strong stakeholder relationships across site, operational and leadership levels
* Identify and deliver cost-saving & sustainability improvements across the estate
* Own service delivery performance, ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance
* Spot growth opportunities and introduce new solutions that add value
* Analyse data & MI to drive better decision-making and client insight
* Manage on-site teams and suppliers, ensuring high standards are achieved
* Resolve issues proactively and maintain a seamless client experience

What we’re looking for
You don’t need to tick every box, but the right person will bring:
* Experience in account management, contracts, or operational delivery
* Exposure to waste management and have a solid understanding of this background
* Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
* Confidence influencing stakeholders at all levels
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Comfortable working with data, reporting and performance insights
* Full UK driving licence
