Overview
Enterprise Account Executive – UK (Payments & Billing SaaS) for a fast-growing European SaaS scale-up specialising in digital invoice distribution, payments, onboarding, and reconciliation. The platform helps large organisations streamline the invoice-to-cash process, reduce costs, and accelerate collections, while improving the customer experience. This role focuses on expanding presence in the UK and driving growth with large enterprise customers across multiple industries.
The Role
You will take ownership of new business sales in the UK, targeting large enterprises across industries such as utilities, telecoms, media, insurance, and financial services where billing and payment complexity is a major challenge. You will:
* Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
* Build and maintain a pipeline of enterprise accounts
* Collaborate with solution consultants on technical integrations (ERP, payments, billing workflows)
* Lead RFPs, procurement processes, and commercial negotiations
* Represent the business at industry events and position the solution with senior stakeholders (CFOs, CIOs, Heads of Finance Ops, Digital Transformation leaders)
We’re seeking a proven enterprise SaaS salesperson with experience in payments, billing, or finance operations solutions.
You will bring
* 3–7 years of enterprise SaaS / FinTech sales experience
* Familiarity with UK payments (Direct Debit, BACS, Open Banking) and/or AR automation solutions
* Background selling into one or more of: utilities, telecoms, media, insurance, or finance
* Consistent track record of quota attainment
* Consultative approach with strong business process mapping skills
* Comfortable with complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
* Fast-scaling fintech with cutting-edge technology at its core
