Role Summary
To achieve the Anthropologie mission of creating an 'unimagined store experience' by developing a store culture that fosters creativity and inspires both the store team and the customer. Support the Store Manager in achieving strategic goals, and assume store accountability for sales, service, store execution, and loss prevention. Lead the execution of visual projects in-store, delivering an inspiring, dynamic, and entertaining customer store experience.
What You'll Be Doing
Merchandising and Display
* Interpret company direction and fashion trends to deliver creative VM solutions supporting sales.
* Collaborate with the Store Manager, Display Coordinators, and creative teams for project execution.
* Manage seasonal displays and merchandising concepts with effective planning and execution.
* Implement VM initiatives, window schemes, and styling directions to high standards.
* Share inspiration and ideas through meetings and communication.
* Coach team members on merchandise placement, standards, and business analysis.
* Ensure efficient shipment processing to maximize sales.
* Understand store profitability and guide team in using reports to react to trends.
People
* Recruit, train, and develop staff to increase productivity.
* Manage performance development and uphold company standards.
* Lead by example and communicate company goals.
* Participate in training and operational initiatives.
* Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
* Motivate the store team to deliver exceptional customer care.
* Identify and develop team members for VM projects.
* Celebrate achievements and shared goals.
Leadership & Communication
* Attend daily meetings and share insights from Head Office.
* Lead in daily interactions, maintaining professionalism and openness.
* Convey new ideas and visual concepts to the Head Office.
Managing The Environment
* Ensure work areas are organized and safe.
* Plan and execute store floor work to minimize customer impact.
* Uphold safety standards for displays and visual spaces.
* Oversee customer service and store environment.
* Lead by example on the sales floor, coaching on service and standards.
Operations
* Create an environment that highlights products and aligns with customer interests.
* Support stock loss prevention and proper handling of merchandise.
* Perform operational procedures accurately and timely.
* Ensure merchandise is replenished and standards maintained.
* Plan and execute projects with organizational skills.
* Support store opening and closing as needed.
* Support flexible working hours to meet business needs.
* Uphold health and safety procedures.
What You'll Need
* Proven experience in driving sales through visual presentation and business acumen.

* Retail management experience with a creative or fashion background.
