Receptionist – SEN School (Ribchester)
Location: Ribchester, Lancashire
Hours: 32 hours per week
Pay: From £13.75 per hour
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and highly organised Receptionist to join a specialist independent school for young people with complex needs, located in the picturesque village of Ribchester.
This is a vital front-of-house role where you will be the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and professionals, as well as providing key administrative support to the wider school team. The successful candidate will play an important role in helping the school run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to a warm and welcoming environment for all.
Key Responsibilities:
* Welcoming all visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
* Managing incoming calls and enquiries.
* Maintaining accurate records and handling confidential information.
* Supporting with general administrative duties including filing, post, and data entry.
* Liaising with staff, parents, and external agencies.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role (highly desirable).
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* A proactive and flexible approach to work.
* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential due to location).
* Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check prior to employment.
