Home Adaptations Team
Full-time locum contract
£33.82 per hour
Located in Walthamstow (Hybrid - home and office-based)
Our Local Authority Client is recruiting a locum Occupational Therapist for their Home Adaptations team in Walthamstow.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct occupational therapy assessments within the Home Adaptations Team, focusing on adults in need of support at home.
2. Apply expertise in complex moving and handling, ensuring safe and effective solutions are recommended.
3. Support the delivery of home adaptations, working closely with surveyors and caseworkers to develop tailored intervention plans.
4. Manage caseloads independently, providing regular updates and reports to the Line Manager as required.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
* Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
* Knowledge of specialist equipment, major adaptations, and manual handling.
