Oxford City Council has an exciting opportunity for a Youth Support Work Apprentice to join our dynamic Youth Ambition team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to start your career in youth work, gain valuable workplace experience, and make a real difference in your community.
As an apprentice, you will be supported in developing a wide range of youth work and professional skills while working towards a Level 3 Apprenticeship qualification. You will gain insight into how a youth service operates and have the chance to work with a variety of departments and stakeholders across the organisation and the city.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will be:
* Planning and supporting youth clubs after school and during school holidays
* Doing outreach in schools and the local community
* Helping to plan and run trips
* Evaluating youth activities
* Marketing including social media and events
