Job Description:
Join us to improve human health and understand life on Earth. We seek a Senior bioinformatician for analyzing bacterial genomes, focusing on the bacterial capsule. This is a fixed-term, externally funded position.
About the Role:
Conduct analyses on capsule composition, diversity, and function, mapping genetic and structural landscapes. Apply AI and machine learning to predict capsular structures from genomic data. Collaborate with the Wellcome Sanger Institute and EMBL-EBI.
About You:
Candidates with recent PhDs or postdoctoral experience in microbial genomics, biochemistry, AI, or related fields are encouraged to apply. Experience in genomic data analysis and AI applications is essential.
