Responsibilities
* Lead by example to deliver safe, effective, and high-quality care within the theatre department.
* Provide day-to-day clinical leadership in your area of specialism, ensuring that best practices are followed at all times.
* Support and guide staff to maintain high standards of patient care and technical competence throughout the perioperative pathway.
* Demonstrate a commitment to improving the patient experience through compassionate and respectful care.
* Act as an advocate for patients, raising and addressing any safeguarding or quality concerns.
* Ensure all team members are supported in delivering patient-centred care that promotes dignity, safety, and empathy.
* Support the development of the theatre team by mentoring junior staff and supporting their clinical competencies.
* Assist the Clinical Services Manager Theatre in the daily management of the department, including planning, rostering, and supporting service delivery.
* Maintain effective communication within the theatre team and across multidisciplinary teams to support coordinated care delivery.

Salary and Working Hours
Salary: Up to £60,000.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification). This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
