We’re on an exciting journey of growth and are now looking for an inspirational Centre Director to lead our Bentleigh centre with passion, purpose, and pride.
About the Role
As Centre Director, you’ll lead the day-to-day operations of our vibrant Bentleigh service. You’ll oversee the delivery of child-centred education and care, ensuring the unique needs, culture, strengths, and interests of every child are reflected in our practices. Your leadership will inspire and empower the team to deliver outstanding service that consistently strives to Exceed the NQS.
This role is pivotal in upholding our child-safe practices,guiding the team in creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where children are always at the heart of everything we do.
What We’re Looking For
You’re a natural leader who’s passionate about early childhood education. You value relationships, thrive in a dynamic environment, and love bringing out the best in others.
You’ll bring:
* 3+ years’ experience as a Centre Director (or similar leadership role)
* A Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education
* A deep understanding of the NQF, EYLF, CSS and NQS, with a commitment to continuous quality improvement
* Proven experience implementing child safety standards and ensuring compliance
* A current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and Police Check
Key Responsibilities
* Lead with purpose – Foster a culture of respect, reflection, and growth while ensuring child safety is always the top priority
* Inspire your team – Mentor, support, and grow a high-performing team committed to delivering high-quality care
* Drive continuous quality improvement – Lead the charge in striving for Exceeding NQS outcomes and maintaining a culture of excellence
* Build community – Develop strong, trusting relationships with families, children, and community partners
* Ensure compliance – Maintain all legislative, regulatory, and workplace safety requirements, with a focus on child safety
* Manage finances – Oversee budgets, family accounts, CCS applications, and payroll
* Boost occupancy – Lead enrolments, tours, and service promotion
