Job Description
My client based in Coventry are seeking a Legal Secretary to join their team on a full-time basis.
You will provide administrative and clerical support to solicitors and legal teams including:
1. Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence
2. Manage solicitors\' diaries, appointments, and deadlines
3. File legal documents with courts and maintain organised case files
4. Handle client communications, including telephone calls and emails
5. Carry out basic legal research as required
6. Co-ordinate meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes
7. Ensure confidentiality of sensitive legal information
Requirements:
8. Previous administrative or secretarial experience, preferably in a legal environment
9. Strong organisational and time management skills
10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems
12. High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
