Retail Loss Prevention Officer
Salary: Up to £28k depending on experience, plus bonus, discounts.
Hours: Days only (5 days from 7 on a rota basis, hours between 10am - 8pm, including some weekends). Up to 40 hours per week. Guaranteed hours contract.

The role:
We are seeking customer-focused Retail Loss Prevention Officers to join a leading fashion retailer. This is a permanent role with opportunities for long-term career progression. The position offers a competitive salary, benefits, and a company bonus.
Ideally, candidates will have prior experience as a retail loss prevention officer, store detective, or retail security officer.
Your duties will include:
1. Providing a customer-focused security presence
2. Ensuring a safe and secure environment for staff and visitors
3. Acting as a uniformed visual deterrent to shoplifters and security incidents
4. Following the ASCONE principle
5. Meeting and greeting customers in a friendly manner
6. Conducting security patrols of the store
7. Working closely with store staff and the Store Manager
8. Conducting internal investigations into stock loss, fraud, and theft
9. Monitoring CCTV and security systems
10. Managing key holding responsibilities
11. Reporting all security incidents
12. Performing staff searches
13. Carrying out retail security duties
Candidate requirements:
* Fully flexible to work 5 out of 7 days, including some weekends
* Hardworking and self-motivated
* Good time management skills and ability to work under pressure
* Customer-focused
* Experience as a retail security officer, store detective, or in loss prevention is preferred
