The Role
We're hiring a hands-on CTO who wants to go 0→1 - someone who thrives at the intersection of fast iteration, deep system design, and direct customer engagement.
Must haves:
Be located in the US and have right to work in the US. Overseas candidates cannot be considerd
Experience at a 0-1 startup, (ideally as a founding engineer) Seed - Series B, in healthcare, finance, logistics, or supply chain.
Experience designing and building secure, API-connected systems (to be used to bridge fragmented systems together)
Full-stack development experience (Node.js, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL).
Experience with AWS (Lambda, RDS, S3) and Docker.
You\'ll
* Architect and build the core platform - data models, workflow automation, and the agent layer.
* Collaborate directly with customers and founders to ship fast, learn faster, and refine the product through real-world use.
* Pressure-test and evolve our vertical strategy - starting in healthcare, with an open lens to expand where the signal is strongest.
* Shape culture and product DNA from the ground up - recruiting, mentoring, and setting the engineering bar.
* Own technical vision and infrastructure - from early integrations (EHRs, ERPs, CRMs) to scaling across industries.
The Opportunity: Across data-rich industries like healthcare, finance, and legal, critical service workflows are still manual and locked inside legacy systems. Building the platform that makes these workflows intelligent, compliant, and AI-augmented from day one.
Starting in healthcare - a fragmented, high-volume ecosystem desperate for automation - to pressure-test our thesis before expanding across other verticals. Live with pilot customers and actively pressure-testing our thesis in real workflows.
The vision is to go deep in one vertical, automate its highest-pain operational workflows, and expand those learnings across other industries. This is the stage where curiosity, rigor, and speed matter most. We\'re looking for a technical leader who wants to help shape the company from first principles and build from problem to product-market fit.
The company has raised $2MM and has 5 employees. The role has a strong equity component, 5%+.
