They are in search of someone with at least 2 years of commercial experience in backend programming and databases. Their primary CMS is TYPO3, known for its steep learning curve but high flexibility once mastered. They are seeking an individual who thrives on challenges and can excel in the role with support from their CTO and development team.
Employees undergo training using real-world code on real tasks, supplemented by popular training courses, books, and websites. Ideally, the candidate will deploy code to production within the first week and handle support tickets independently within the first month. Problem-solving usually occurs collaboratively, and all code is fully accessible in their hosted Git environment, facilitating learning from peers' work.
The team works from the office twice a week, so the ability to commute to Brighton is essential.
