The role
As our Apprenticeship & Funding Manager, you will:
* Manage the end-to-end talent attraction and recruitment for apprentices and trainees.
* Manage the delivery of high-quality apprenticeship and professional qualification programmes.
* Support learners on their career journeys – from apprentices and trainees to achievement of their professional qualifications.
* Manage levy accounts and CITB funding to ensure maximum return on investment.
* Build strong partnerships with apprentices, line managers, providers, mentors, and other stakeholders.
* Represent Axis CLC at skills events, careers fairs, and industry forums.
* Champion compliance, quality standards, and continuous improvement.
About you
We’re looking for someone who has:
* A passion for helping people grow through education and training, and experience supporting learners through their learning journey.
* In-depth knowledge and understanding of the UK Apprenticeship standards, the apprenticeship levy rules and any recent or expected changes to these.
* A proven track record of managing apprenticeships or other skills development programmes, and being able to demonstrate value to the business.
* Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and presentation skills with credibility to engage senior leadership audiences and external partners.
* Experience managing relationships and contracts with training providers, like colleges and universities, and funding agencies.
* Ideally also insights and experience with other funding sources, like CITB.
