SLC now have an exciting opportunity for a Programme Manager to join our team. As a programme manager, you’ll play a critical leadership role – reporting to the Portfolio Lead and taking full ownership of interdependent projects and the associated business change activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of outcomes. This includes ensuring effective governance, overseeing the quality and consistency of project artefacts, closely monitoring progress, actively managing risks, and supporting business readiness across the organisation. SLC offer a blended working model which will typically be 2 days in the office and 3 days from home. What you bring: A proven background in successfully managing larger scale Projects or Programmes, delivering project solutions and following project methodologies. Excellent communication and relationship skills to build and maintain effective working relationships with business teams, stakeholders and senior management. Relevant technical experience where appropriate which may include leading the team to deliver the design, build, test and transition into production for bespoke and off-the-shelf software, hardware, infrastructure solutions, data migration, integration and other technology solutions or business processes. Relevant procurement and implementation experience where appropriate which may include the implementation, configuration, customisation, integration and transition into production of business packaged software, security or other specialist technical software. Experience of managing internal and external suppliers and in leading multi-discipline teams in a delivery environment. A proven people manager with experience in approaches and techniques to manage and develop teams. Experienced in working in a matrix environment Good working knowledge of MS Office suite, including PowerPoint, Excel and Project (Online). Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills experience of producing business cases, programme (project) board documentation and reports which include complex data.
