Role Overview：
We are looking for an experienced In-House Legal Counsel to support the legal and compliance needs of our fast-growing internet platform business across the UK market.
In this role, you will work closely with our management team and cross-functional stakeholders to provide pragmatic, business-focused legal advice, manage legal and regulatory risk, and support our commercial and strategic objectives. The role offers broad exposure to contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and platform-related matters as the business scales.
Key Responsibilities：
* Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial agreements, including supplier contracts, partnership agreements, and NDAs.
* Provide clear, practical legal advice to management and internal stakeholders on commercial, regulatory, and operational matters.
* Support corporate governance and general corporate matters, including entity management and internal policies.
* Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable UK laws and regulations, including data protection and privacy requirements.
* Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to internet platforms and digital services.
* Manage disputes and claims, and liaise with external counsel and advisors when required.
* Assist in establishing and improving internal legal processes, contract templates, and compliance frameworks
Requirements：
* Qualification as a solicitor in the UK or an equivalent qualification recognised in England & Wales.
* Minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience in commercial, corporate, or in-house legal roles.
* Proven experience drafting and negotiating contracts governed by English law.
* Solid understanding of UK legal and regulatory frameworks.
* Knowledge of data protection and privacy laws (UK GDPR).
* Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple matters simultaneously.
* Fluency in both Chinese and English (written and spoken).
