Overview
We are seeking an experienced, customer-focused Restaurant Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Yardbird. Reporting into the General Manager and Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Overseeing day-to-day service operations of the restaurant on shift
* Hosting and waitressing shifts
* Supporting the Assistant Manager with training and induction of new restaurant staff
* Overseeing restaurant cleanliness and reporting any maintenance concerns to the Assistant Manager/General Manager
* Resolving complaints and ensuring customer satisfaction
* Enforcing health and safety practices, including sanitation and food hygiene
* Ensuring consistent quality standards during service
* Overseeing the opening and closing of the premises, including set-up and clean down
Essential Criteria
* 2 years experience in a similar busy (table service) restaurant
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent communication, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
* Availability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Desirable Criteria
* 1 year supervisory experience in a similar busy (table service) restaurant
