Whether you're supporting PIVOTAL's car subscription model or working with THE OUT's luxury rental service, you'll be part of a team that's setting new standards for customer experience, flexibility, and luxury in the automotive world. THE ROLE
At THE OUT we deliver all our rental cars to customers in Midlands and occasionally across the UK. But we don't just leave the keys and disappear. Our drivers are also there to help customers understand how to use the cars. From pairing their phones with the onboard Bluetooth to understanding the best way to charge them. We'll get you ready for a road trip before walking away.
We are now looking for drivers based around Castle Bromwich and Leicester (MVS Bruntingthorpe) area.
A mix of driving + customer service + brand representation, the Driver Rep is a super important role. In fact, it's the only time our customers ever meet people from THE OUT, and it is the part of the service customers rate the most. This is a Freelance, Self-employed Zero Hour Contract role. You decide when you want to work and how many deliveries you want do. Jobs are released daily through our Driver app.
Deliveries and collections take place during our operating hours Monday to Friday (with occasional weekend
Requirements
The key responsibilities are:
* Delivery and collection of luxury cars across Birmingham and surrounding areas
* Checking cars are in immaculate condition pre- and post-rental.
* Provide excellent customer service with outstanding professionalism.
* Maintain record logs to ensure a smooth running of operations.
We are looking for a candidate who:
* Comfortable using apps on mobile devices.
* Loves to engage with customers and delivers outstanding levels of service.
* Takes ownership of customer needs and complaints
* Is passionate and knowledgeable about the cars.
* Can drive safely in dense urban areas and has experience driving large vehicles.
* Has good communication and time management skills
* Maintains a professional appearance
* Is flexible to work on weekends
Skills & Qualifications:
* Ownership of a full clean GB or EU driving licence held for a minimum of 5 years
* Previous customer service experience for a Luxury brand is desirable
* Successful applicants will be required to consent to a basic disclosure and barring service check (DBS).
As this role involves more than 'just' driving nice cars, we are looking for people with positive, customer-friendly attitudes. Individuals who go above and beyond what they're asked. We are especially looking for people from luxury hospitality and customer service roles.
