Team Manager – Children in Care
Location: Sand Martin House - Hybrid – 2/3 days per week in office
Rate: £45 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary
Peterborough City Council is seeking an experienced and dedicated Team Manager to lead a specialist team supporting children and young people in care. This is requiring a strong understanding of complex care needs and multi-agency collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deputising for the Head of Service for Corporate Parenting
* Working closely with the Service Manager for Corporate Parenting
* Overseeing care for children and young people outside the criminal justice system whose behaviours may pose significant risks to themselves or others
Experience & Knowledge:
* Proven experience managing social work staff in children’s services
* Ability to work collaboratively with health and police partners
* Skilled in risk management and safeguarding within complex care environments
