Job Overview
This role is a fixed-term/secondment vacancy until 31 March 2027, available only to staff currently employed by Hywel Dda University Health Board. A commercial agreement is required from the employee’s current manager prior to applying.
We are recruiting a Primary Mental Health Specialist Practitioner for the Emotional Health & Wellbeing Team in Pembrokeshire, providing an opportunity to develop clinical skills in child and adolescent mental health nursing with training, professional development, managerial and clinical supervision.
Responsibilities
* Implement innovative evidence-based practice.
* Conduct specialist mental health assessments with children and adolescents referred to the service following agreed protocols.
* Engage effectively with children, young people and their families.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated ability to engage with children, young people and families.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Knowledge of Welsh is desirable; English is required.
