Milk Education are working in partnership with a warm and inclusive primary school in North Tyneside to appoint a dedicated and passionate EYFS Teacher. The Role
As an EYFS Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative learning experiences for children in Nursery or Reception. You will plan and deliver lessons linked to the EYFS framework, support pupils in reaching key developmental milestones, and work closely with families to ensure every child receives the highest standard of care and education.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum
2. Create a stimulating, safe and nurturing classroom environment
3. Support children’s physical, emotional, social and academic development
4. Promote outdoor learning and nature-based activities
5. Observe and assess pupil progress, maintaining accurate learning journals
6. Develop strong relationships with parents, carers and the wider school community
7. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and colleagues to ensure consistent provision
8. Follow all safeguarding policies and prioritise children’s wellbeing
What We’re Looking For:
9. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in EYFS
10. A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development
11. Creativity, enthusiasm and a child-centred approach to teaching
12. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
13. Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and high-quality practice
