The ideal History Teacher will inspire students in Key Stages 3 and 4 with the stories and significance of the past. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging and effective History Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Prepare students for GCSE History examinations. Develop students' understanding of historical concepts, periods, and interpretations. Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback as a History Teacher. Contribute to the development of the history curriculum and extracurricular activities. Foster a curiosity about the past and its relevance to the present. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in History. Proven experience teaching History at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4). Strong and comprehensive knowledge of historical periods and concepts. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities in History.
