Head of Infrastructure, Service Management, and Security
Location: Remote (with travel to UK & Germany) - UK Based - £100K Base and Benefits

We’re seeking an experienced Head of Infrastructure, Service Management, and Security to drive the evolution of our technology landscape and ensure a resilient, modern IT backbone across our business.
This is a strategic leadership role for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys building robust IT infrastructure, and is passionate about service excellence and security compliance.
Responsibilities
Infrastructure Management
* Lead design, implementation & maintenance of IT infrastructure (on-prem & cloud)
* Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability
* Oversee data centres, network architecture & cloud environments
Service Management
* Implement IT service management frameworks (e.g. ITIL)
* Drive excellence in incident, problem, and change management
* Continuously improve service delivery and operational support
Security Management
* Define and implement security policies and risk frameworks
* Conduct audits and assessments; ensure ISO 27001, GDPR, NIS2 compliance
* Champion a proactive security posture across all tech functions
Leadership & Strategy
* Lead, develop & inspire a cross-functional IT team
* Align technology initiatives with wider business objectives
* Provide strategic input to the CIO and executive team
* Stay ahead of emerging tech and regulatory trends
Should Have
* Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience
* Extensive experience in IT infrastructure, service delivery, and security leadership
* Deep knowledge of Microsoft technologies – O365, Azure, Modern Workplace
* Hands-on experience with ITIL, ISO 27001, GDPR & NIS2 frameworks
* Fluent German speaker – essential
* Outstanding leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
* Proven success in managing enterprise-scale IT environments across multiple geographies
Skills
* Network & data centre architecture expertise
* Mastery of cloud services, especially Microsoft Azure
* Proficiency with security tools and compliance systems
* Strong problem-solving and strategic planning capabilities
