Job Title: Multi-Skilled Operator – Process (12hr shifts rotating days and nights) £ 31300 per annum Reports to: Process Supervisor/Shift Manager Overall Role Purpose The purpose of the role is to assist the process supervisor in the day to day running of the area and to provide cover for the roles outlined below during training, holiday, sickness and any other absence. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities Signed off on process batter and fryer roles Able to cover the process area, batter and fryer including FLT Complete the KPI changes to MCS as required Support shift engineers with process advice on breakdown and repair Maintain the cleanliness of own working area Complete a thorough handover at the end of each shift to counterpart on following shift Ensure own work is compliant with relevant health and safety, QA, environmental and GMP policies and procedures Provides assistance, “on the job” training and coaching as and when required to operators in the process area BBS (Behavioural Based Safety) training – responsible for your own safety and for those around you Carry out sanitation duties as required, including shutdown Remain at workstation until relieved at shift handover Carry out “on the job” guidance, training, support for colleagues as required Report and escalate production issues with a supervisor or manager in a timely manner Any other reasonable task as requested by your supervisor/manager Management/ Leadership Skills Required Able to demonstrate appropriate supervisory skills HS, GMP Qualifications Maths and English (GCSE or equivalent). Lamb Weston chemical training. FLT – Counterbalance and RPPT PPT – to be completed Experience Manufacturing shop floor experience 2-3 years’ manufacturing experience. Supervisory experience. SAP/SCADA experience.
