The Role
You will handle a varied caseload of corporate matters and play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the department. The position offers significant client exposure and the opportunity to contribute to business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Advising on a wide range of corporate transactions, including:
* Mergers & acquisitions
* Company restructures
* Shareholder and partnership agreements
* Joint ventures
* General corporate governance matters
* Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating corporate documentation
* Providing clear, commercial advice to clients across a range of sectors
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 5+ years' PQE in corporate law
* Strong technical knowledge and experience in handling corporate transactions
* Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
* Commercially minded with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
* Ability to manage a busy and varied caseload with minimal supervision
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable
* Experience advising SMEs and owner-managed businesses
* Interest or experience in business development and networking
