JobDescription:
* The postholder will be a member of the ADHD/ASD service.
* The post holder is responsible for providingassessment and formulation for adults presenting with ADHD/ASD andprovide evidencebased interventions.
* Inaddition the post holder will be encouraged to develop a specifictherapeutic modality as a specialty for theservice.
* Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesClinical to ensure high quality assessment of adults referred tothe ADHD/ASD service.
* To provide or provideaccess to a range of quality psychotherapeutic interventions inaccordance with individual assessed need.
* Thiswill include the assessment planning implementation and evaluationof a variety of therapeutic approaches either alone or as a memberof the MDT.
* To deliver therapeutic input toadults referred to the team and provide carers with relevantinformation. Work as a coworker where appropriate with othermembers of the MDT.
* To be responsible for andmanage a defined caseload and undertake case managementresponsibilities within the caseload.
* Toidentify and develop strategies to manage risk to the adult andothers in line with Pennine care policies procedures and protocols.
* To liaise closely with a wide range ofagencies regarding individual care packages and to promoteawareness of adult mental health issues within these agencies.
* Undertake liaison and joint work with otherprofessionals. Senior MHP ADHD/ASD Band 6 Ensure collection ofrelevant information required.
* To routinelymonitor effectiveness of clinical work by use of Routine OutcomeMeasures (ROM) and where outcomes are not improving for adults toengage in clinical review via peer review meetings and supervision.
* Managerial and Administrative To attend teamclinical business and other meetings as required. To manage ownworkload and time effectively.
* To undertakeaccurate record keeping.
* To provide and enterdata for local information management systems. To contribute topeer supervision within the adult ADHS/ASD service.
* To give and receive regular clinicalmanagement supervision and to participate in appraisal. Toparticipate in the development of education and trainingprogrammes.
* To maintain own education andawareness of current developments within the service.
* In conjunction with the Clinical Lead/PrimaryCare Service Manager ensure that appropriate supervision isavailable and attended for any specialist psychotherapeutictreatment intervention offered by the post holder such as CBT CATor family therapy.
* Development Maintain acurrent professional portfolio and participate on programmes ofpersonal development and training which will be identified as partof the individual performance and development review.
* Undertake personal development in line withpolicy. Maintain professional registration requirement. This jobdescription is not exhaustive but is intended to give an overallpicture of the role.
