Commercial Supply Chain ManagerDuration: 12 monthsLocation: Hook (2-3 days per week in the office)Pay rate: £42 per hour PAYECompany car allowanceThe Commercial Cluster Supply Chain Leader is a partner in the supply chain organization, responsible for leading the Commercial Affiliate Supply Chain teams, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure accuracy of demand planning, replenishment and inventory management for the Commercial team(s) in their area. The Commercial Cluster Supply Chain Leader is also responsible for ensuring that business processes in the Commercial Areas/Affiliates under their responsibility are executed properly.Key Objectives/Responsibilities:Accountable for execution of applicable cluster/affiliate S&OP meetings to drive alignment between key stakeholders around demand management, product supply, and inventory levels; includes development of S&OP process (as needed), promotion of S&OP and its tools crossfunctionally, and ensuring consensus forecasts; manage supply escalations appropriatelyMaintains working knowledge of end-to-end supply chain components including demand management, replenishment, inventory management, promotional planning, logistics operations, and seasonal planningReport out on globally-driven KPIs for their affiliate and develop any additional metrics needed to support the performance of the affiliateParticipate in product launch activities including geoexpansion launch calls, ensuring accurate forecasts for launches, and tracking sales vs forecast for initial 6-12 months post launch in order to provide recommendations for inventory strategy shiftsCommunicate issues back to International Supply Chain Team and key stakeholders to determine methodology for resolution - project, six sigma effort, etc. to promote a culture of continuous improvementDevelop, train and coach supply chain professionals; drive engagement and collaboration; complete performance management cycle for all team membersBuild and maintain effective cross-functional relationships with business leaders, Global SupplyChain, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Quality, Finance, and other key stakeholdersQualifications & SkillsUnderstanding of SAP and other Supply Chain systems/tools, especially around Demand and Replenishment processesKnowledge of Supply Chain concepts, tools and business processesDegree in Supply Chain Management (alternatively, CPIM certified or in progress) or applicable experience3+ year’s experience in the Pharmaceutical, Veterinary or Consumer Goods industryStrong business/financial acumen and analytical/problem-solving skillsAdditional PreferencesDemonstrated learning agilityNegotiation skills and expertiseExperience interfacing with various manufacturing functional groups, such as production, logistics, quality control, quality assurance, and technical servicesTravel required (% of time): Local UK travel only
