Role Overview
In this role as FIBA Relationship Manager you will build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with specialised lenders and members to support long-term business growth and mutual success. This is a varied role which will include panel management, driving business growth, supporting member training, event coordination and lots more.
What you'll do
* Positively influence business levels across the specialist property market through proactive engagement and strategic support.
* Support initiatives to increase membership levels across FIBA both at member and lender levels.
* Conduct regular review meetings with member firms and lenders to identify growth opportunities and to ensure they are receiving all benefits of membership.
* Lead proactive call-out days to strengthen lender and member relationships and deliver meaningful value.
* Complete assigned project work within agreed timescales, ensuring quality and alignment with business objectives.
* Effectively manage partner and member expectations through clear communication and reliable follow-through.
* Proactively identify opportunities within lender and partner propositions that deliver added value to our members.
What you'll need to succeed
Essential Experience
* Strong working knowledge of the UK specialist property finance market, with a clear understanding of industry dynamics and trends.
* CPSP and/or CeMAP qualified, demonstrating a solid foundation in specialist mortgage advice and regulation.
* Proven experience within the intermediary sector, with a track record of supporting and influencing advice firms.
* Background in intermediary development or account management within the financial services industry.
* Experience in complaint handling, ensuring swift and professional resolution.
* Comfortable hosting Q&A sessions and panel discussions, facilitating valuable dialogue and member engagement.
Essential Skills
* Skilled in motivating and engaging intermediaries to drive business performance and enhance proposition uptake.
* Confident in delivering tailored training sessions and bespoke presentations to audiences of varying sizes and levels of expertise.
* Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and maximise productivity.
* Strong objection-handling capabilities, with a proactive and solution-focused approach.

Important to know
Location
This is a fully remote, field-based role. You should expect to be on the road visiting members between 2 and 3 days each week.
The ideal candidate will be based in the Midlands or Home counties areas but other regions will be considered.
