They are expanding their London project teams and are looking for experienced Electricians who can also carry out qualifying supervisor duties on site. This is a permanent role with clear scope for progression and additional training. Key responsibilities Carry out 1st and 2nd fix electrical installations across commercial and healthcare projects Install containment, trunking, sockets, switches, lighting circuits and associated wiring in line with project drawings and specifications Perform and record testing and inspection activities; complete test schedules and handover documentation Act as Qualifying Supervisor on site: oversee technical compliance with BS 7671, review and verify test records, mentor and supervise electricians and apprentices, and liaise with site/project managers and clients Ensure work is carried out safely and in accordance with the company's health & safety procedures and site-specific rules Maintain tidy, organised work areas and take care of company tools and vehicle Essential qualifications & experience Valid ECS card 18th Edition qualification (BS 7671) City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent Testing & Inspection certificate Proven experience in 1st and 2nd fix installations on commercial projects Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team Desirable Previous experience acting as a Qualifying Supervisor on commercial or healthcare projects Experience working on hospital or large-scale commercial builds Experience mentoring junior staff or apprentices What the company offers Competitive salary within the advertised range Company van and power tools provided Paid holiday entitlement Overtime opportunities (including weekends) for additional earnings Exposure to commercial projects Clear opportunities for career development and upskilling - supportive environment for taking further qualifications and moving into senior supervisory or site management roles How to apply If you meet the essential requirements and are ready to join a reputable contractor working on major London projects, please submit your CV and contact details to Strong Recruitment Group.
