Bank Support Workers
Location: Horsham, West Sussex Area
Salary: £16.78 per hour weekdays and £19.01 per hour weekends (Time and a half on bank holidays)

Theyre looking for a compassionate, client-focused Support Worker to join a dedicated team supporting a young gentleman who enjoys engaging conversation, social outings, and being part of the community. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic, friendly and genuinely committed to making a positive impact in someones everyday life. You will be assisting the client with his care, independence and day-to-day support within his own home, working closely with a supportive and experienced care team.
The client is a 20-year-old gentleman with cerebral palsy. He lives with his lovely family in Horsham and enjoys the company of others. He is very sociable and has a great sense of humour. He enjoys watching and talking about football, going out and meeting people and playing on his Playstation at home. He uses a wheelchair in the community but can manage short distances with support and a walking aid.
What does the role offer you?
Induction and training programme offering support and guidance every step of the way.
Regular supervision/appraisal with your team leader and ongoing support from the wider team and therapists.
Opportunities to learn, progress and develop in the role CPD actively encouraged and supported.
To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
A family-based working environment where no two days are the same.
Regular shifts available after school, weekends and school holidays
Support requirements:
Experience of working in a supporting role is desirable.
Able to deal with sensitive personal care tasks.
A full driving licence is essential due to the nature of the role, which includes driving the clients automatic car
Up to date DBS at enhanced level the employer will pay if you need to apply.
