Temporary Administrator – assignment until May 2026 - based Slough Your new company & role A local education provider is looking for an Administrator to work on-site in Slough on a temporary basis. This role is expected to last until May 2026 and will be a key part of the Student Services team. Each day you'll help to shape the student experience and be a friendly face on campus. Key duties include: -First point of contact for student queries (inc. face to face, phone & email) -Sign posting to correct contact where necessary -Managing email inbox -Handling inbound phone calls –Covering Reception/Student Services desk – Liaising with internal stakeholders such as facilities, security, cleaning, student support and finance – Ad hoc administration, collating and providing information where required Available shifts are Sat/Sun/Mon 10am-5pm & Tues/Weds/Thurs 10am-8.30pm. These shifts can be covered as a job share, so there is an option for candidates wishing to do part-time work. What you'll need to succeed You'll have previous experience in administration and customer-facing roles. Knowledge of the education/training sector would be beneficial, either gained through work or having recently undertaken a course yourself. This position is 100% on site, so you'll need to live locally in order to commute. Key skills required include strong MS Office, a confident telephone manner and the ability to stay calm and help resolve issues when they occur.
