We are recruiting an experienced CCTV Survey Crew Leader to lead a 2–3 person field team delivering sewer network CCTV surveys across wastewater assets for clients throughout the UK. You will be responsible for planning and carrying out high quality CCTV inspections, operating specialist survey equipment, capturing accurate defect data and ensuring all safety, quality and client standards are met.
This is a hands‑on, field-based role with regular client interaction, working closely with operational teams and survey colleagues to deliver inspection services that support leakage reduction, flood prevention and pollution control.
This is a full‑time role, working Monday to Friday, with flexibility required around working hours including early starts, late finishes, occasional weekends and working away from home depending on project requirements.
Locations: Irlam, Clevedon or Brentford (site‑based, with regional travel).

Responsibilities
* Lead a 2–3 person CCTV survey crew on site, coordinating daily activities and workloads
* Carry out sewer network CCTV inspections in line with OS19X Sewer Condition Classification
* Operate CCTV survey equipment to identify, classify and record structural and service defects
* Complete survey records, defect coding, digital paperwork and plan annotations accurately and on time
* Act as site lead for health, safety, quality and productivity
* Communicate professionally with clients, customers and internal teams
* Manual handle manhole covers, CCTV rigs and inspection equipment
* Work within live wastewater networks and confined spaces
* Work outdoors in all weather conditions
* Maintain flexibility for travel, early starts, late finishes, weekends and away work when required
Qualifications
* Full UK driving licence
* Current OS19X qualification
* Ability to complete accurate digital paperwork and reporting
* A proactive, safety‑focused and team‑oriented approach
Desirable
* Confined Spaces certification
* NRSWA Signing, Lighting and Guarding
Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in CCTV sewer surveying within the wastewater industry
* Strong working knowledge of OS19X Sewer Condition Classification
* Experience leading or supervising site‑based technical teams
* Comfortable working in confined spaces and on highways
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Client‑facing experience and professional approach on site
* Reliable, flexible and comfortable working in physically demanding outdoor roles
