Flora Care Solutions provide Specialist Therapeutic Residential Care to Children with Autism, ADHD, Learning disabilities and complex needs. Are you ready to lead a specialist children's home ?
We are seeking an exceptional Registered Children's Manager or aspiring deputy to take the reigns of one of our high-quality residential homes for children with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs. You will be at the forefront of delivering outstanding care, leading a dedicated team and ensuring compliance with Ofsted and the children's homes regulations 2015 (England).
The home is based in Maghull.
Duties
* Leading and managing a 3 bed Ofsted registered children's home.
* Providing specialist care and support for children with autism and learning difficulties.
* Ensure the home meets and exceeds Ofsted's quality standards.
* Recruiting, training and supporting a stable and skilled team.
* Building strong positive relationships with families, social workers and commissioners
* Promoting positive outcomes in education, health and emotional wellbeing.
Requirements
* Level 5 in leadership and management for residential childcare (or working towards)
* Within the last 5 years, worked for at least 2 years in a position relevant to the residential care of children
* Worked for at least one year in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role
* Deep understanding of autism, positive behaviour support and safeguarding
* Confident, compassionate leader with a strong values-based approach
* Knowledge of Ofsted inspection frameworks and regulations
* Enhanced DBS and full employment history is required.
