Apprenticeship: Level 3 Business Administrator

Salary: £15,600
Full-time – 37.5 hours per week.
Office-based role. 5 days a week in the office.
An established insurance recruitment consultancy based in the heart of the City of London is looking for a Team Administrator to support a busy team of recruitment consultants and the Office Manager.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone organised, detail-oriented and looking to develop their administrative skills within a professional office environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Formatting CVs to the company’s standard layout
2. Inputting data onto QuickBooks accounting software
3. Managing electronic filing of client terms, benefits and portal details
4. Chasing consultants for signed terms and ensuring portal details/passwords are up to date
5. Managing consultant expenses
6. Document scanning and binding
7. Screening incoming calls and taking messages
8. Monitoring the company’s main inbox and forwarding enquiries appropriately
9. Booking meeting rooms and external venues
10. Ordering stationery and office supplies
11. Updating internal phone lists and seating plans
12. Supporting the onboarding process for temps and contractors, including references and contracts
13. Updating sales figures on office noticeboards
14. Helping maintain a clean and tidy office environment
15. Providing general administrative support as required
Skills & Experience
16. Excellent attention to detail
17. Predicted GCSE grade 4 or above in Maths and English
18. Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
19. Strong communication skills
20. A positive team-player attitude
21. Organised and reliable approach to work
