Business Development Executive – Automotive Parts Industry
We are currently working with an automotive client based in Dundee who is seeking to recruit a Business Development Executive in a mobile role. Ideally, you will have at least 1 year of Sales / Business Development experience.
Job Summary & Responsibilities
Our client is a successful automotive company looking to recruit an experienced Sales Development Manager for their trade parts department.
Responsibilities include:
1. Preparing and delivering planned sales presentations to maximize results, including customer greeting, qualifying, handling objections, product presentation, demonstrations, and closing.
2. Maintaining and developing the customer database.
3. Creating additional sales opportunities for repeat or new business.
4. Contributing to customer retention through effective representation.
5. Developing and submitting weekly and monthly journey plans.
6. Maintaining full knowledge of all products, pricing, and key competitors.
7. Producing reports on sales activities such as follow-up, prospecting, presentations, and new clients to ensure accurate sales forecasts.
8. Ensuring timely and accurate completion of reports and paperwork.
9. Assisting in developing strategies to increase business in line with the Business/Growth plan.
About you:
* At least 1 year of experience in Business Development.
* Experience within the Automotive industry is desirable but not essential.
